Live-in Pet Sitting Services

To ensure your pet receives the appropriate level of care, live-in pet sitting is priced using a tiered system. Tiers are based on how long your pet can safely be left alone, as well as any medical, behavioural, or mobility needs. Your pet’s tier will be determined during the intake process to ensure their comfort, safety, and well-being, and to allow us to schedule the appropriate level of supervision and support.

• Pricing may adjust based on:

  • Number of pets

  • Location and travel requirements

  • Length of stay

  • Holiday periods

• All care is provided using fear-free, force-free, and medically informed practices.

All live-in pet sitting bookings are assigned a care tier based on the information provided during the intake process. If a pet’s needs differ from what was initially disclosed, or if care requirements increase during the booking, the assigned tier may be reassessed to ensure the pet’s safety and appropriate level of care.

• Reassessment may occur if:

  • A pet cannot be left alone for the stated amount of time

  • Additional medical care or medications are required

  • Behavioural challenges arise that increase supervision needs

  • The level of care exceeds what was outlined in the original intake

  If a reassessment is required, clients will be notified as soon as possible. Any pricing adjustments will reflect the updated tier and will apply from the date the increased level of care is required.

Tier 1 - Overnight Only Care

Ideal for cats and small animals (rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, reptiles, etc.) who can be left alone for 8–10+ hours. Best suited for pets with stable routines who only require feeding, enrichment, and basic wellness checks.

Tier 2 - Standard Care

Ideal for dogs and cats with low care needs and who can be left alone for up to 6–8 hours. Includes overnight care, daily walks or outdoor breaks, feeding, enrichment, and routine household supervision.

Tier 3 - Enhanced Care

Ideal for pets with mild medical, mobility, or behavioural needs who can be left alone 4–6 hours. May include oral medications, basic monitoring, and gentle behavioural support with extra care and awareness, including additional observation and/or midday check-ins or senior assistance.

Tier 4 - Advanced Care

Ideal for pets with moderate medical or behavioural needs who can be left alone for only 2–4 hours. Includes frequent check-ins, advanced medication administration, and behavioural support with close supervision.

Tier 5 - Constant Care

Ideal for pets requiring near-continuous supervision and can only be left alone for 0–2 hours. Designed for complex medical cases, post-operative care, and severe anxiety or behavioural challenges with customized care plans and priority communication.

Constant Care and Daycare Services

My hourly and constant care services are designed for pets who cannot be left alone for extended periods but do not require overnight care. This in-home daycare option provides consistent supervision, companionship, and attentive care in the comfort and familiarity of your pet’s own environment.

This service is ideal for pets with:

• Separation or isolation anxiety

• Medical or mobility needs requiring close monitoring

• Behavioural concerns that make extended alone time stressful

• Young, senior, or special-needs pets who benefit from routine and presence

During constant care visits, I remain in your home and dedicate my time fully to your pet. Care may include feeding, potty breaks, medication support, enrichment, play, rest periods, and calm companionship—always guided by a fear-free, force-free approach and your pet’s individual comfort level.

This service is perfect for short day trips, long appointments, recovery days, or evenings out when your pet needs more than a standard drop-in but not overnight care.

Drop-In Services

My drop-in services are designed to provide dependable, low-stress care for pets who don’t require constant supervision but still benefit from professional, compassionate check-ins while you’re away. Visits are available in 30-minute or 60-minute bookings and are tailored to your pet’s individual needs and comfort level.

During each visit, I can:

• Feed meals and refresh water

• Administer prescribed medications

• Clean litter boxes or pet enclosures

• Take dogs out for potty breaks

• Provide playtime, enrichment, or gentle interaction

• Offer calm companionship for pets who prefer a quiet presence over hands-on interaction

Care is always provided with a fear-free, force-free approach, respecting each pet’s boundaries, routine, and emotional well-being.

Additional household care can be arranged upon request, including tasks such as collecting mail, watering plants, or changing bird feeders. Please note that depending on the nature and time required for these requests, additional fees may apply.

Drop-in visits are ideal for cats, small animals, independent dogs, or pets who simply need consistent check-ins from a trusted veterinary professional in the comfort of their own home.
